Miniatures / Gunpla Painting
As a graphic designer, I generally use computers for the majority of my work. After moving to New York, I needed to break from being on my PC for the majority of my day. I ended up building and painting Gundam models. It took some time, but eventually I upgraded to using an airbrush and a painting booth in my apartment. I had a tendency to never paint the “correct” colors and always went with color schemes that I rarely got to play with in my professional life.
Since I’ve moved to Atlanta, I’ve built a painting studio as well as a spray booth so I have been able to up my game quite a bit. I’ve also engaged in a new kind of painting with a much smaller scale. I’ve started painting Warmachine / Hordes miniatures. This allows me to paint and play a strategy game after I’ve finished painting. It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve been slowly getting better with hand painting.
Below are a few of my projects! Enjoy!
